Names?
So hopefully we find out the sex of our baby in the next week. Until then a few of the names we've thrown around are as follows....
Girls: Riley Joy Alaina Joy Boys: Caleb Michael Ethan Michael Older sister's name is Madison, and out last name is pronounced Hopp-ee. Any thoughts or opinions or other suggestions. I like sort of popular names, but not too popular that I know a bunch of them. Nothing too different my husband is more conservative/traditional. Thanks!

Re: Names?
I LOVE those names! We should hopefully find out gender in a couple weeks but haven't tossed names around at all yet *face palm* With DS we did as soon as we found out but I feel so busy chasing him around I don't even fell like I'm going to have a baby *sigh* But I really like the names you picked. We were thinking of naming DS Joy if he would've been a girl

Re: Names?
ethan is very very popular around here. i personally would not go for that one, even though it's a fine name
![]() i'm also not a big fan of Riley for a girl- i prefer more gender specific names. i like the other ones you picked! congrats, hope you find the "perfect" name!

Re: Names?
I love those! Count me in as another who is not a big fan of Riley for girls. And I love Alaina. I also prefer Caleb over Ethan, but who am I to say??
![]() I'm sure the name y'all pick with fit the child wonderfully!

Re: Names?
Your names are adorable - if you are asking my opinion, I don't really like Riley for a girl... I like very "girly" names for a girl - Alaina Joy is very pretty.
Ethan and Caleb are both nice names. I like them both equally!

Re: Names?
I love the name Riley for a girl! If we ever have another daughter her name will likely be Riley.
and I think I like Ethan better than Caleb, but as someone mentioned it is very popular, so maybe go for Caleb if you don't want him to the one of 5 Ethan's in his grade

Re: Names?
If you have an -ee sound to your last name, I would not add to it with an -ee sound to the first name as well, like with Riley, kwim?
I like both of the boy names, but I'm not crazy about either girl name.
