Re: I just took a pic of my 18-day-old C-section scar.

wow that is an awesome incision! (that sounded weird)

but i had two, both kind of bumpy...they used staples both times, assuming thats what made it bumpy? its white and slightly pinkish, and not crazy noticeable(not that anyone would see it since its hiding under tummy ) but that looks like it'll heal nice!

BTW, confession:

i refused to look at my incision until maybe 2-3 months later both times. i had hubby look at it daily, but i couldn't bring myself to do it. i thought my intestines were going to fall out....

This! Lol and I've had 3. Heck getting out of the bed I thought I was going to split open. I'm a tad dramatic. .
The glue is definitely the way to go. Heals so nicely.

I am 7mo after CS and mine is dark purple and thick and raised...I hate to have it touched for some reason it makes my skin crawl! (poor OH) It is also still numb to the touch as well as the surrounding skin. I am also so afraid to razor over that beast in fear it will tear open!

It looks great already, you won't be able to tell soon enough. I was lucky enough after the first emergency c section there was a plastic surgeon that came and did my incision, I still had to have staples but you can hardly see my scar (just the staple holes)
