Re: Trimmest covers for tiny newborns?

I decided to try a couple inexpensive soakers (one fleece, one wool) from etsy. We'll see! Thanks everyone!

I don't know a single thing about longies or soakers. never used either. I'm scared of wool Any links to info about longies and soakers and where to buy inexpensive ones?

thanks!
Sorry mama. Then I've got nothing. I saw on GMD's website that the preemie Litewrap is the smallest cover they sell. I just assumed it must be itsy bitsy. I have no personal experience with tiny ones because my babies are massive at birth, but I wanted to help.

the preemie lite wrap is TINY when it arrrived I though there is no way I'll have that small a baby its just sooooo itty bitty.. Then baby came and I must just give birth too a crazy skinny DD cause pretty much every cover gapped the rise was great on the lite wrap came up over the cord and all but not swallowing her up but the legs gapped a lot. Ive learned that really untill my milk coems in and I can fatten mine up nothing is really gonna fit.

For trim I would go with Thirsties X-Small. Or if you are looking for a WAHM cover maybe contact The Fancy Pansy. She makes newborn covers occasionally and I'm sure she could make you some X-Smalls. Her covers are great and have great patterns.

The Bummis SuperLites are a bit trimmer than the SuperBrites and fit REALLY well over fitteds.
