I did it!

I nursed in public for the first time successfully and I wasn't self conscious. I had tried with dd but was too uptight. Granted today we were in the pedi waiting room but it didn't bother me even when another mom started talking to me. It helped that I had a loose shirt and a rank top along with the bra so everything was as covered as possible. I'm going to look into finding some nursing tops and tanks.

Yay, Congrats!! I had a hard time NIP at first but now that DD is a month old, its getting a bit easier. Nursing tanks are amazing! I bought all mine super cheap on ebay.

That's really great! Nothing like the first time...for me it was just all a mess being our first pedi visit, my first baby and papers to fill out.....and to think so beautiful a relationship to come this far to have a store clerk tell me "go outside the store the next time you have to feed your baby" Take it in strides, try and triumph!
