I think he ate an amber bead!

I think DS chewed a bead off his amber necklace yesterday. I didn't notice until this morning where there is now one bead missing. Is there any harm in this or will it pass naturally?

I don't know but I remember a recent "ate a penny" thread and all the pennies came out fine. I hope your DS is okay.

Well Asterix has successfully passed pennies, dimes, plastic beads and legos. Poor guy! It rough being #5! ODS is gona loose all his legos and $$ again here really fast if he doesn’t keep them picked up! I made him pick the last lego out of the poopy diap too!!
So I’m sure a tinny amber bead will be no sweat.

We don't vaccinate, we kept our sons intact, we use cloth diapers, we co-sleep, we extended RF, we breastfeed, but we watch too much tv and I totally dig plastic! Everyone has their issues, lol.

Hi Tammy,

Like I told you in the email there is absolutely no harm in eating/ swallowing amber. It’s a natural, non-toxic substance and will just pass through his system if he did eat it. Don't worry.
