how do you cook pork roast?

Just that. I have a monster one (10lb) that I'm going to cook tonight to make enough for 3-4 meals. I'm wondering how everyone else cooks theirs? I mince garlic, chopped green onion and rosemary and rub it in. Yum! I want to make carnitas out of it one night so hopefully the rosemary isn't too strong.

My fave way to do it is milk braising. Milk, rosemary, thyme, salt. It's so amazing and the milk ends up making a fantastic gravy.

To me nothing beats pork butt in the smoker for 12+ hours. Inject with a little apple juice, Worcestershire, and some rub seasoning. Rub the outside of the roast with yellow mustard and more rub seasoning of your choice. I usually do 20+ lbs at a time and freeze it up. Smoke pork meat reheated using a steamer insert on the stove makes very quick week day meals.

Neat! I have never heard of milk braising before. I will be trying this soon.
