elastic for diapers???

I suck at sewing lastin. So which elastic do you think holds up best for homemade dipes besides lastin??? I usually use swimwear elastic in a casing, but I'd like to use a three-step zig-zag and am wondering if braided elastic would be better for that???

Re: elastic for diapers???

I've used stretchrite braided in all of my 3 step zig zagged diapers and they have great stretch and none are shot. I stretch it as much as possible when I sew it. I make 3 layer fitted diapers.
