Re: Feeling unsure about his name
What about the nickname "Boo"? That is baby's full initials, B.O.O. Close to "Bro", but more on the cutesie side. I really like the name Brody, it's not nearly as popular as Owen.
In all the rooms at my OB's office, he has all the birth announcements up, of the babies he delivers, on several cork boards in every room...very interesting to see the "name trends" and such. The last two appointments I've been seeing a new name pop up for a few families...."Rowdy". My husband LOVED it! But we are due in Feb with blessing #7, daughter #5 ![]() Erin |

Re: Feeling unsure about his name
mama the name thing is hard! I love the names you picked!I still feel annoyed sometimes that DH talked me into naming my sweet baby boy George he is the fourth *eye roll* no offense to anyone who likes that name, I just never have and never thought I would name my baby that! Luckily, i got to find and pick his nickname, which is the only name he has ever known... hopefully it will stay that way for a while...because of this I totally have baby #2's name options picked already, and I dont care if DH objects.. he already got his namesake now its my turn to choose! ![]() suburbangranola I think Briana Dee is cute! It doesnt come off as "country" to me unless you frequently call her Briana-dee as one name... but a lot of names could sound that way if you run the first and second name together, I know mine could - Laura Jean gets turned into Lara-Jean by anyone from mississippi

Re: Feeling unsure about his name
Oh did I mention it's "Bree. Anna" and not Bree ON a?
![]() We never call her by both names unless we are joking. DHs family is very southern ( like seriously need subtitles to understand FIL) and we kind of pick her when she accidentally talks with a drawl. Had DH not filled out the birth certificate while I was in transition, I def would have made him choose another name.

Re: Feeling unsure about his name
I heard the name Gavin the day before I had DS1. Hubby thought I liked it more than the rest of the names we had on the list, so after a hard birth, he says, you want to name him Gavin, I just shook my head.... and he could have said, you want to name him Whatchamacallit and I would have shook my head yes. Anyway, I hate his name. I hated it starting two weeks after he was born. My hubby now loves it. I asked if we could change it up to about 18months and Hubby finally said NO, now get over it. So I did, and now I just try to embrace it! its his name!
