Re: Weekly Chat Jan 20-27
I'd rather not - I or someone with me will be posting on here during it for me. I don't want to obligate anyone to acting on my middle-of-the-night labor texts at the end of a pregnancy.

Re: Weekly Chat Jan 20-27
This is kind of random - but I figured that's what this thread is for! So dh and I have the Baby Center app on our phones just for fun and it has a widget where it tells you the approximate size of the baby weekly and gives a comparison to a fruit or a vegetable. This week on that app it says that baby weighs about 2 1/2 ounces, but when we were getting our ultrasound the other day the tech estimated her weight at 6 oz. Now I know that ultrasounds are notoriously inaccurate as far as weight estimates go (especially later in pregnancy), but the tech's comment was that the 6 oz. weight was right on. She said that they expect to see them at about 6 oz. at 16 weeks, 7 oz. at 17 weeks, and so on. She didn't say how far that is accurate to - I mean obviously a 40 week baby weighs more than 40 oz., but I thought it was interesting that a there was such a discrepancy between Baby Center's 2.5 oz. and the medical world's 6 oz. Anyway...... ramblings from my brain!
