major grocery store score today!!

my local food lion grocery is going out of business so they had a price slash sale starting 1/25. we finally made it in today and i bought everything i could find that we use!! lol they took 50% off every item and they still accepted coupons. i got about $500 worth of groceries--mostly cleaning and non perishables for $160 my pantry is fully stocked

I went to 2 of the food lions yesterday and posted pics and a list of everything I got. It would have been $580.80 before the sale and coupons and I only spent $208. I was thrilled, and it sounds like you did great 2.

where are you located mama?? are all the food lions' going out of business?? i thought it was just our local one

Nice. I thought all Food Lions went out of business years ago. Its been probably 10 years or so since there was one in central FL.
