Re: meal plan for this week

Just finished mine for the week:
Sunday - T-bone steak on the grill (these were on sale for $2.99 a lb, which is super cheap here), baked potatoes, salad.
Monday - Date night for us! Kids will have mac & cheese, strawberries and carrots with the sitter.
Tuesday - Oven fried chicken, pasta, broccoli.
Weds - Pulled pork sandwiches, corn, chips and salad.
Thursday - taking the kids to Legoland! So dinner out somewhere.
Friday - leftovers/clean out the fridge night
Saturday - potato soup, salad, homemade bread.

This is my meal plan and I am new to meal planning but I am in love.

Monday- crockpot chicken breast with cream of mushroom soup (as gravy) brown rice, and steamed veggies.
Tuesday- bean and cheese burritos (with homemade crockpot refrained beans) brown Spanish rice and veggies of some sort.
Wednesday- chicken tacos (from leftover chicken breast, I make a double batch on Monday) beans (also leftovers from Tuesday) and veggies
Thursday- ground turkey sloppy joes (since we had YDS bday this weekend and have leftover buns) chips and veggies
Friday- biscuits and gravy and fruit.
Saturday- cheese chicken and rice casserole.
Sunday- we will be going out but I was going to make homemade pizza and have salad with it.

LUNCH (for 2 kids all week and 3 kids on weekend I usually snack on fruit and stuff)
Monday- peanut butter and honey sandwiches on whole wheat, orange slices and string cheese
Tuesday-crackers, yogurt, apple slices and carrots.
Wednesday-meaning daddy for lunch because he deploys
Thursday- hotdogs, pasta salad and banana
Friday- turkey sandwich, grapes and slice of cheese.
Saturday- leftover sloppy joes from Thursday night
Sunday- homemade lunchables, crackers meat and cheese and I add fruit.

Monday- oatmeal, and dried fruit
Tuesday- scrambled eggs and peanut butter toast
Wednesday- cereal
Thursday- pancakes that I made a week or so ago that I froze. I put them in the toaster and add syrup and fruit.
Friday- cereal ( I get lazy when DH leaves and give cereal more)
Saturday- carrot/ apple muffins that I made a few days before and froze.
Sunday- cereal

For me I change lunch up from my plan by what fruit I have that needs to be eaten but lunch and breakfast stay the same-ish every week. Dinner changes every week and I rotate meals monthly so we do t really eat the same thing in a month. I make my plan for 2 weeks at a time and do my big shopping 1 time every 2 weeks with a small (only produce trip on the opposite week).
