I don't usually reuse the Softbums covers but you can if pee doesn't get on them. I like Best Bottoms because I can and do reuse the shells. They are wipeable. I change them out when I get a poopy one (which is more frequent with a newbie) but with my toddler I use maybe 2 shells a day.

What about the GroVia system? The soakers are backed with TPU to avoid the soaker being soaked through and getting urine on the cover.

Also, I have an EUC SoftBums Omni with new stay dry pod FSOT

I have been very happy with my grovias, especially with the staydry inserts. Ten shells and thirty inserts gets us 3-4 days between washings for my two-month-old. I looooooooove AI2s!

Re: Softbums or Other AI2's?

We can use the shells 3x usually before needing to wash them. They usually aren't more than a little damp, and after drying there isn't a smell until maybe the 3rd time. I also really like the one-size option without the snap down rise, makes it at least seem trimmer to me.

us too- the TPU backed soaker and stay dry insert (which is really trim) and I have a renewed love for GroVia's hybrids! I love the AIO too!!

I have never tried softbums because I dont like the internal toggles, and I don't like flip because it is so wide in the crotch
