You guys must not shop JCP much... The whole store is always atleast 50 percent off... I'm there at least weekly. 40 percent off is actually a price increase for them.

Everything online I like is "not available". If it's not available why is there an option for that size? So frustrating!

I went in today. Prices are already in effect. I was pretty happy with what I found today, especially in the clearance area. There was a skirt I was looking at for months that was $60. It was moved to clearance and marked with the new pricing- $9. Its a wool, long winter type skirt. Other areas I wasn't so impressed, but still cheaper then regular price and still the same merchandise. It will be interesting to see if they start getting cheaper merchandise.

I talked to an associate and she verified they will be doing away with the $10 of $10 purchase coupons - I got half my kids' current clothes for free with those coupons- and all other coupons. She also said they will still do sales, but they will be month long rather then weekly. I can't wait to see what the sales are going to be like.

And last- she said customer service has been getting a lot of phone calls where people having been screaming into the phone and hanging up. So far I guess no body is really bothered by it- she laughed about it- but I imagine that has to get old.
