Another ME Sandy's question

We have a couple ME Sandy's in small. We only ever used them under wool because I thought a Flip cover would never fit over that fluffy diaper!

Well, I tried it yesterday with a Flip and it fit great!
Now, the problem...
We are needing to size up to a large because the smalls are too tight. Is a large Sandy's still gonna fit under a Flip cover or am I going to only be able to do wool with it?

I am not a fan of the Airflow cover, so that's out.

I am good with wool at night but I do like these diapers for day time use as well. I guess we could go coverless during the day...

No, flips do not fit over large Sandys, the wings are to skimpy! Just tried it yesterday. The rise BARELY fits but the side coverage is lacking.

Thirsties duo size 2 cover works great though.

Eta: just tried my imse vimse large wool wrap and it covers the sandys very nicely too

Okay, good to know! Can you tell me how the fit of the Thirsties Duo and the Imse Vimse covers compares to a Flip? Especially around the thighs. My girl has got some thighs!!!

Imse Vimse are full coverage and work great with Sandys. They have gentle gussets, too. I am not sure if Thirsties are as gentle on the thighs but they also fit over sandys.

Wool interlock pull up soakers made by gently made and sold on etsy work great over the sandys large. You can still wear regalar clothes over this (if the pants are baggy or stretchy). They come in an unbleaced natural color, but i dyed mine and love them. We cant do PUL, so i didnt have the option of using a standard cover. Oh, theyre only about $20, so theyre pretty easy on the wallet as far as wool is concerned.

No, Flips don't fit over large Sandy's. Bummis Super Brites and Thirsties sized covers fit the best, if you don't want to go with the Mother-ease Air Flow. They both also have double gussets so they are pretty gentle on the fat thighs. My kids have huge thighs too, and I've never had a problem with either of those.

Large and even Toddlerease fitteds work great under Blueberry Coveralls! Another good one is Gen-Y Simplicity or Classics.
