Moms who stuff pockets w/ Thirsties PF

If you use Thirsties Duo Hemp prefolds to stuff pockets or in covers, how long does 1 hold your lo? I am always putting a bamboo insert in front of them to be on the safe side. Am I underestimating their absorbency?

It last from 2 to 3 hours (nap time) for us.

The size 2s last us all night with a hemp doubler in a flip. We love them.

Ditto. One size 2 and a large hemparoo holds my 22 month old for 12 hours with absorbency to spare most nights.

During the summer when I could line dry I stuffed a size two in my FBs and it would last three daytime hours no problem. My ds doesn't normally pee while sleeping so I don't have any data points beyond the ocassional three hour change. They are awesome!

I use a size 2 prefold stuffed in a BG 3.0 pocket for DS overnight.... I fold over the top edge a bit, then trifold it so there is a thicker part that goes towards the front, where he pees. The back of the insert is usually a little dry still when he gets changed, and he pees enough that a pampers babydry is soggy and starting to get the front of his sleeper damp. He nurses 3-4 times overnight still.

The prefold isn't quite enough for my DD overnight, but we use them and the hemp inserts for naps and when she won't be able to get changed as often (out and about, car trips).
