Pelvic Girdle Pain this early?

I remember having Pelvic Girdle Pain/Symphysis Pubis Disorder with my first 2 babies, but never this early! I am just now 15 weeks and have been having pain especially on the inside of my right leg. Is this something I can get a "diagnosis" for and get treatment for? Or should I just concede to having to keep my legs together for the rest of this pregnancy? I really have been enjoying running and walking so far this pregnancy and I don't want to stop yet!
Has anyone else had this pain this early on?

You could try a chiropractor, but I have heard that is one of those things that doesn't get better until after delivery. Sorry.

DDC but mine started around 15/16 weeks and still hurting at 24 weeks! Staying off my feet and laying with my feet propped on pillows is the only things that have helped at all.

I don't know about diagnosis, but mine started about four days ago. I am 17 weeks. I think it was at this point or maybe slightly later that I had it start last pregnancy.
Today that pain isn't as bad, but my hips are so sore and feel like they are going to fall out of their sockets!

I am seeing my chiropractor in a week and am curious if she can do anything to help. Last pregnancy I didn't see a chiropractor until much later.

Re: Pelvic Girdle Pain this early?

I had it with my other 2 but late and not this bad. I was unable to walk it hurt so bad. I am now going to a chiropractor and have physical therapy at a pelvic wellness center. It is amazing how much of a difference it has made. Really look into it. My left hiphas moved forward, my pelvic bones have seperated to much, and my tail bone is posterior.

I had it last pregnancy around that point, I was also told a chiropractor might help.
My midwife told me to limit carrying heavy items, try to avoid stairs and things like that. It was rough, I had a small bout of it about a week ago but it since went away, I am really hoping I won't have it this time, but I guess it's unlikely cause what I have read says it typically comes back in subsequent pregnancies. I did recently find a website with information in exercises that can hel but I haven't tried them yet

I hope it eases up for you mama, it sure does hurt

One question for you all, did anyone else find this problem worse when expecting girls? I didn't have it when I was pregnant with my boys ( which I also carried much differently ) my boys seemed to be carried more evenly ( I looked pregnant from behind as well as in front) with my daughter she was all out front, from the back there was no telling I was pregnant it was all just belly. And with her spd kicked in. Did anyone else notice that?

I carried DD more all over than this pregnancy and had spd. I don't know the gender of this baby yet, but do far the pain is less. I am carrying more out front.

I Have been having this for a few weeks now. It's not excruciating or anything at this point (15 weeks) but it does hurt a lot when I get up from a sitting/lying position for about 10-15 steps afterward. I remember feeling this pain with my twins, but I think it was later...I dont know what's going on. I'll for sure talk to my doc about it though...

Re: Pelvic Girdle Pain this early?

I bet a chiropractor would help me, but at $35 a pop (specialist co-pay) and likely needing adjustments throughout pregnancy, it would be hard to justify and afford unless I totally can't move. I need to look into it more...
