Couponing week of 2/5 :)

nearly every store offers rainchecks as long as its an advertised product.

Actually I had a woman on AFC offer them up to me! I was soo overly excited about it. 15 are going to a friend and 10 are going to my newspaper guy. The rest are for me and family. w00t!! I don't bother with selling them. Although it's rather temping.

I got the duncen hines coupon in my mail! YAY! .33 cake mixes? OH yes I think so! I am SO excited for my grocery trip tomorrow!

Safeway groceries this week, granted we did not need too much and we buy our produce from the farmers market.
Total before discounts $90
After club card and coupons $37! (they don't double, so I will never get some of those totally awesome deals)
This is the best I have done at the grocery store since I started Couponing seriously for groceries about a month ago.
The hardest part is sticking to my list when I have my 2 year old in tow, but a really nice lady from the bakery gave him a cookie and he happily ate that in the cart for about a half hour. She said anytime we are there stop buy the bakery for a free cookie

That already sounds like an awesome deal! With no doubling here I'm happy when I spend $45 and saved $12!

HEB is the only grocery store within 20 minutes of me. And it shows.

No need to buy newspapers. I've been couponing for years and have never bought a newspaper. Granted, it's most likely because I'm extremely unorganized and too lazy for all that clipping. I buy all my coupons (the same coupons found in the newspapers) online. I use www.couponsthingsbydede.com and www.coupons66.com mostly. You can still get all the great deals!
