Pants for a tall and lean toddler

Dd is no longer in diapers, which is great in all aspects except for keeping her pants up. She needs a 3t for length, but most just fall down as she runs or jumps. She hates jeans and won't wear them. Leggings would be ideal to go under dresses, but I'll take anything at this point!

Re: Pants for a tall and lean toddler

Quite a few places carry leggings or yoga pants. I have purchased them for my nieces and even Tharen liked yoga pants so I bought them for him. I think The Children's place had leggings and I know Kohl's did. I bought Tharen solid colored yoga pants at walmart really cheap one year and they were pretty cute. Tharen has no tush to speak of and is pretty long and lean little guy so he takes a slim and I found that with the elastic waist I had no problem with them fitting him.

The kid girl leggings from gymboree were a great fit fir my DD. And the KG pants also come in slim sizes that we loved. Gap in general runs slimmer also. These worked for us when DD was out of diapers. For shorts I just made sure they had an adjustable waist. (skirts too)

We like the gymboree slim jeans for my DS (they also have adjustable elastic in the waist to help them stay up.) Gap jeans are okay too but only if they have the adjustable elastic (not all do) and only the straight and skinny cuts work.

The Children's Place has leggings and they're a nice fit for my DD. She's a 3T in length and a teeny waist. I can never find pants that fit her! Gap has nice leggings too, jusT a bit pricy.
