I think DD out grew infant (not newborn) prefolds by 2 months (she was 13 pounds and fat). She is so small for her age now at 12 months (17 pounds) and is still in medium (and even one small FB) diapers.

Thanks so much for all the input. It looks like it is normal for some babies to go into the bigger size faster and stay there for a while. To me this only happened with the tutto diapers and the oh katy brands. They do run smaller than other diapers. but tuttos are my favorite <3 and I couldn't imagine that we were not going to use those for much longer.
