Don't forget pooping on the delivery table!

But I doubt the nurses really care.
I'm a labor & delivery nurse and I don't care. I can't remember what anyone's vaginas look like, no one stands out to me

Re: When to get waxed before L&D?

I'm also a L&D RN and do not care if mom is shaved/waxed or not- it really doesn't make any difference to us. That being said, I use a electric trimmer myself just because it feels easier to keep it clean that way. Hubby has been helping me since about 34 weeks!

But seriously ladies, your nurse does not care or expect it so please don't worry about it!

I have no idea why this was so funny to me but goodness gracious!

I don't think I'd be comfortable waxing but I'd definitely keep it well trimmed up!

Ha! Isn't that the truth. I am 12 weeks pp and still can't find a good deoderant to conceal the nursing mama smell. DH is horrified. With DS1 I did sugaring because I normally wax but heard this was gentler - um no - child birth was less painful (done at 38 weeks). With DS2 I had my appointment for the 10th of December and he was born the 4th. I had hubby do a "quick" clean up prior to his arrival when I realized I wasn't going to make my appt. I do it for the pp clean up for those 6-12 weeks that you bleed.
