set dyes using synthrapol questions
I have some interlock woolies in variation of color (red, blue, green, orange) , but it looks like the dye hasn't set yet. I'm planning to set it with synthrapol because vinegar doesn seem to work. Can I wash them together in the washing machine?

in my experience, synthrapol doesn't set the dye, it just removes the excess dye.
I would wash separately until you're sure there is no more dye left.

synthrapol will not set the dye. It's a textile detergent.
Oh and vinegar will felt the heck out of wool if you're not careful!

Re: set dyes using synthrapol questions
Are you using scented wool washes? I would switch to unscented. If you really like scented woolies then buy the spray on kind for after washing. I have found that even if its dyed by a manufacturer or company scents will make things bleed.
