What do I buy for a summer baby??

My oldest was a summer baby. We only had AC in our bedroom where we were living when she was born, so at night she was in a onesie, sleeper, and swaddled while in our bedroom. During the day she lived in onesies at home and dresses when we went out!

I like the cotton gown type things a lot for when at home for the first couple months. They usually are long sleeved or the sleeper kind are often sleeveless. They are easy for diaper changes. I've had spring babies and either gown them or onsie them most of the time and then either swaddle or cover with a blanket.

Thanks for the reminder, we have a thrift store where kids clothes are half off for February so I need to make another trip to see what they have.

HA. so anyways, for me, just the short sleeved onesies with a couple receiving blankets was good enough.

Oh the little old ladies! We lived in Louisiana when our first and third were born and in Houston with our fourth (and coming fifth!) and always got comments about our babies being sockless!!! Why have them in socks when it's so hot and humid?
