Bleach vs. Sanitize cycle

Which do you prefer?

Do you think hot water vs. bleach works better for cleaning?

Is one harsher/easier on the diapers (i.e. pul, elastic, etc, not just cotton)

Would love to know other people's experience.

Awesome question!!! I need to know this too! My daughter is fighting a yeast Infection and I need to sanitize her diapers

Both are hard on diapers. Sanitize melts PUL and stiffens elastic. Bleach breaks down PUL, Elastic and fibers in cloth.... BUT I think you'll have less wear from occasional light bleaching than sanitary cycle.

For this I would go bleach! Hot water alone will not kill the yeast.

My washer doesnt have a sanitize cycle so I use bleach

I agree. For yeast or Staph, I'd go with bleach and sanitary.

Haha! I use 1/4 cup original bleach to my sanitise cycle. Make for like new diapers every time!
