Flip organic inserts
Do these work well in pockets? Alone or do they need a micro fiber as well? Meaning -- do they absorb fast enough? I've heard some natural fibers don't drink up pee fast enough on their own.
Would these work well in the grovia ai2 shells? Also- spam me on places to get good deals on these! Tnx ladies ! |

Re: Flip organic inserts
They will be find in your pockets. I wouldn't put them in the grovia shells though, they tend hold the urine smell when the mesh gets wet. Love them with the tpu inserts though

We only use BG 4.0s stuffed with Flip organics trifolded during the day. No MF needed and they absorb REALLY well! My 2 yr old DS is a heavy wetter and these work great even for naps. Never a leak!

Re: Flip organic inserts
I used organics in flips quite a bit, with just a fleece liner for poop containment. Absorbent and fast. Dry time is a bit longer than the thirsties hemp pfs (which I would highly recommend) but definitely shorter than AIO like BGE.
I got most of mine through cottonbabies (seconds sale) or fsot.

I love them for overnight. My daughter is pretty skinny so they're a little bulky on her for daytime, but she doesn't really need that much absorbency during the day. They're super soft and absorb a ton. They work well in BG 4.0 but are a little wide so may not work in all pockets. I got 5 NWOT on ebay a few months ago for $11.

Re: Flip organic inserts
I find that the organic ones stuffed in pockets are pretty bulky. I prefer them for longer periods, like naps or if we are going somewhere. I have put them in pockets but only if I can't find a flip

Re: Flip organic inserts
Love them- buying them used is the best though because they will absorb well with more washes.

We love them too. We use them folded in covers (Flip, Blueberry Coveralls, ME Rykki wraps and Thirsties) or stuffed in BG 4.0s.. They're awesome for my HW DS, even overnight (paired with a stay dry).
