signing time

DD is 20 mths old and not interested in talking at all. But she picks up signs just by showing her 1 time. Problem is, I run to you tube to figure out what the asl sign is for any given word. I found some short videos from signing time and love it and dd does too! I want to get some of the dvd's. Which ones are best? I'd be buying any from amazon with my swagbucks.

An example of a few of the words? How many words does it have? I guess I would love the most useful ones, the most used words

Re: signing time

My son never got into the baby signing time, but he loves the regular Signing Time! We got the season one set off Ebay and it was worth it. He will watch them over and over and over and knows a lot of the signs.

Re: signing time

You want regular signing time, Series 1 (not baby signing time or Series 2). This has basic 1 word signs. I highly recommend just getting all of Series 1. Totally worth it. If you sit and watch with her, you will remember them all. It is fantastic!

Re: signing time

that one is signing time.... baby signing time has children under 2 doing the signs, both are done very much the same, and by the same lady.

We have baby signing time (i think vol 1-4), and it came with a bonus of 2 regular signing times ABCs and Leah's farm.

The girls like both.

We also have the regular singing time (as opposed to the baby version) and we have the first four dvds. They have been great!

Re: signing time

My kids, well dd who is sn and ds2 who is 4 love baby signing time over the regular signing time although they will sit and watch any of the dvd's.
We have volume 1-6 from the first signing time series, I want to get a few more since my dd is still learning to talk and she signs a lot, the videos are great and teach so well.
