Sling help!

I just got this sling today...is she supposed to look this squished? I think I may have ordered it too small. I've been so excited about it but I can't seem to get her in right. Her shoulders are scrunched...but her but is where the instructions said it should be.

I'm so confused.

Help!

I am no expert, but I never cared for the cradle hold. I think tummy to chest is what is recommended now. Either way if he is curled up with his chin on his chest, that's a big no-no. I am sure someone more knowledgeable will help

Re: Sling help!

I also preferred the Tummy to Tummy carry and it was the only one Tharen would tolerate as a tiny baby. Here is a You Tube video from the Tummy to Tummy DVD that might help.

you could look for some other youtube videos on pouch carries. When he was 5 months or so I would carry him facing out with his feet folded in, or sort of cradled but propped up higher towards my shoulder and facing a little out so he could see. He just never liked a full cradle carry like that.
