(I'd be happy to take both of Watermelon's girls, we can swing two gifts!)
$20 max sounds good to me. And within a couple of weeks - or just within the month of May to make it easy? I like handmade or WAHM purchased since we don't do a lot of the commercial stuff - especially now that DS is older.

Can you girls throw out some ideas as to what you would like to do? We need to consider:

- price limit
- handmade/WAHM or store bought
- wish lists
- timeline
- anything else you can think of

I thought about doing an official DS swap through the swap forum. I could apply to be a swap host but I don't know if everyone qualifies to be a swap participant because you have to have 10 transactions I think. So if you are all comfortable with it, we could just organize it ourselves. I hope that's okay anyway... I'm going to go with it. If need be and we want to do it but can't do it here, we can communicate by e-mail. Okay, so share your ideas!
I'm good with doing it through email if need be! Go ahead and PM me. I can help organize, too. Wishlists are good - or general things (like for us we do wooden/wool/natural toys and mostly just prefolds.)

I think the defensiveness (at least for me that's what I would call it) comes from my feeling protective. And that's okay.
I'm glad you know what I'm talking about. It is defensiveness. I know that. And I kind of feel bad about it sometimes. Like I should just be all confident mama "this is how he is so deal with it". But I think we take everything personally. And for me, DS's small size just goes back to the low milk supply issues we've always had. And I've always felt a reflection on me with that. It's good to hear someone say it's okay, though

Breaks are good I look forward to 8:30 every night when DS goes down and I get to veg out in front of the tv and on my computer. Can't wait to see pics!

Zookeeper those pictures are amazing! Too cute!

Just leave us out of the swap. Honestly we haven't had babies in our family for a while and the fact that they are twins makes everyone want to shop for them...we are in overload!

Went to the pediatrician yesterday for their 1 year and they weigh 16 pounds 1 and 16 pounds 9. Everyone always says they looks so big so I thought that was funny!

$20 limit sounds good - I think that should be before shipping.

Maybe we could gather everything or make things and send the last week of April and we would all get them around the same time and before any of the babies' birthdays.

Just let me know what you think!
