Cheap Polyfill Beads?

I have been making lots of seek&find bags as gifts lately, but the cost of poly beads is killing me! $7 for enough to make 1.5-2 bags Anyone know a good place to get them cheaper, maybe in bulk?

I don't know of a place. But could you use rice or white beans instead? Just an idea.

Hmmm...I guess rice would probably work. Do you think the rice would degrade/get dusty over time, though?
I've only ever used it for hot packs where you can't see the rice.

I'm hoping somebody who makes beanies or other toys has a source?

I usually just by them from Hobby Lobby when they have the 40% off any reg priced item coupon....it's offered about every other week or so.

I found this site, if anyone's interested. Not fantastic prices, but at least slightly cheaper and you can buy in bulk:
