Re: has anyone tried the Swaddlebees newborn simplex?

Here are a couple action shots on my newborn. She hates diaper changes. I was trying to be quick, so the pics aren't great. She was born at 6 lbs 12 oz and lost a little, I would guess she was around 6 1/2 lbs in these pics. The newborn Simplex is huge on her! Very bulky and gapes around the legs and covers her cord even when it is snapped down. I'm expecting them to start fitting around 8 - 8 1/2 lbs and by then her cord stump will be gone, so the cord snap-down seems kind of pointless. I do think they would be perfect for bigger newborns. My 4th baby was 9 lbs 10 oz at birth and I'm sure I would have loved these on him! Swaddlebees says 6-16 lbs, but there is no way they would fit a 6 lb baby.
