Dying Prefolds and Flats

Now that most of my stash is prefolds and flats I really miss hanging all my colorful diapers on the line The weather was great today and was able to hang 3 loads of laundry out there but no diapers... I can not figure out a way to hang my BGE without put a strain on the soaker (I do not want holes) and laying them out on the deck is not half as cool. I miss all my colorful pockets!!

So, I want to dye my prefolds and flats. My flats are unbleached - does this effect the color? Has anyone had a lo react to the dye? My dd does not have super sensitive skin but does get picky with some detergents (with too much fragrance).
