Re: Trying to figure out a newborn stash!

I already have my newborn stash done.

I have a nice selection of fitteds, AIOs, pockets, flats, prefolds. I little bit of everything! The only thing I'm really waiting on buying is wool. I need to know if I need girly or boyish first.

I'm more of a one sized person... But I did HAVE to buy a couple lil joeys off fsot last week. But only because my husbands name is joey. They are so tiny and cute. I sure can't see them fitting long. I have a couple size small swaddlebees aio I got locally used for $5 and a ecobumz size one that I got for $4 brand new at a rummaged last summer. So just those 5 that are smaller. The rest are one size for me.

This is me. If rather have sized and smaller bumms. I have several fitted patterns that I plan on using. I have 16 BGXS and 2 dozen Pfs. I think I'm set for NB. I need some covers and a few snappis. Other then that I may make some fitteds but I'm good. I need to start on my small and up stash.

I've never tried flour sack towels so I can't help you there, but I don't think the nb prefolds are too bulky. A little on the fluffy side, but I don't think it's too much, especially with a good fitting cover.

Do you think I could get away with 24 prefolds (def need more) n some wool covers? I didn't start CDing Eli til 3 mo so I know most of what I have won't fit. : ( Also any experience with prefolds n newborn poo out there?

Edit: I hate how I *always* accidentally hit the send button before in done! It's so finicky!
