Prefitted reviews?

Specifically, Tinkle Traps... If you've used these, what do you think of them? And what kind are they? Serged or turned, boosters, embellished, etc? Just curious. I got some for a fantastic price from a sweet mama on FSOT. I am thinking of ordering a few more. They seem to get good reviews generally but I just wanted to ask around a little more.

Also - how do they compare to other prefitteds like GMD Workhorse?

Re: Prefitted reviews?

They are great, but if you order directly make sure you are very specific with your order. I didn't actually measure the rises for mine and I should have. Also I would discuss lengths on doublers if you plan to order any.
Tammi's customer service is outstanding and her sewing is really beautifully done. Also if you have any snaps or elastic that is broken, send it on in with the prefolds and have her fix it for you, its not going to increase the shipping that much and it makes the whole deal more worth your while.

PS what size are you looking for?

Re: Prefitted reviews?

I made my own and I like the way they hold in the poo but wash well. Howeve
Since I decided I'm not a two part mama I recently put them up
On fsot cheap. Not that anyone is biting right now but hopefully someone will like them too. If you love love prefolds. I really think prefitteds will be a dream since the elastic hold the poo but you get the prefolds durability

thanks for the advice! I sent her my daughters measurements and she recommended premiums. Were your doublers too short? She is really nice. I had some diapers snap converted before.

Re: Prefitted reviews?

My Tinkle Traps were my FAVORITE of all the diapers I ever used -- and I tried a whole lot of different kids. Tammy's customer service is absolutely top-notch, and the quality of her work is perfection. I ended up selling off everything else I had except for a few flats and only used my Tinkle Traps. They held up extremely well to zillions of washings.

Re: Prefitted reviews?

The doublers were exactly what Tammy described. I got a bunch that were boosted, which are larger and a bunch that were made of the left over cloth from the prefolds and since I got large diapers made the amount of left over fabric yielded doublers that were pretty small.

She also made some turned prefitteds for me with Cotton Velor and I think these are going to end up being my go to night time diaper. They are really nice and thick and I got closurless so the fit is PERFECT.

The whole reason we converted is that my husband is a SAHD and he really doesn't like prefolds. He loves the Tinkle Traps and they are easy to get on, easy for him to get completely under a cover. I'll probably get a bunch made for the next babe in newborn and small.

Oh the ones I ordered on FSOT are bamboo velour lined! I was thinking the T&t ones sound so nice and squishy for my baby. Tammy recommended getting the doublers topped too so I'll probably do that. Also going to get no closures. Seems like they'll last longer and fit better that way. Thanks so much for the feedback. I can't wait to try these. I've been getting bored with our pockets. I feel silly saying that but I thought new diapers would be fun.
