Re: May 2010 DDC

Aeryn does not like clothes either. We've tried everything...just yesterday she got a turtleneck onesie off via the neck. How does one accomplish that?

Re: May 2010 DDC

Carter's in a weird clothing phase, too. He doesn't like when the shirts hit his wrist. Sooo, his 12-18 mos. clothes were perfect, but now that we're slowly transitioning over to 18-24 mos. clothes and need to fold back the sleeves a good 1+", he hates it and tries to pull it off. So, for now the bigger clothes are on the backburner for the moment, and he shall just rock 3/4 sleeves for the rest of winter as his shirts shrink away.

that's funny, b/c Nathan HATES when i pull his sleeves up...if we're eating and he's wearing long sleeves, or if we're washing hands...he gets uber PO'd if i try to push them up for a 1/2 second

Sorry to hear of your most recent loss I saw your facebook post, but can't recall if i commented or not. Are you considering seeking treatment at this point? (sorry if that's too personal...i'm (and you prob too) are use to the ttc boards and there is no modesty when it comes to making and keeping beans)

Re: May 2010 DDC

Yeah, he's odd! He's doing better about wearing clothes that touch his wrist. He has two fleece pullovers though that he wants absolutely nothing to do with. They are super soft, too! And cute...but no go.

Definitely not too personal. We aren't *overly* TTC at the moment...so we're not to the point of looking into getting things checked out quite yet. I think if we're not expecting by the time summer comes around, I will. It's tough for me to think about. If I do, then I just end up getting myself worked up that something could be wrong and that Carter will end up being an only child. Sooo, I'm trying to concentrate on other things! And trying realllllly hard to ignore the tests you sent me. I'm at 2dpo today, and am already tempted because I am a nutcase!

Been busy here..hopefully you havn't given in and are testing soon now (8dpo if I counted right?). Good luck! It took us 13 months to conceive our first..I was 20 & DH was 25 so the thoughts that something was wrong & we'd never have kids were def. creeping in.

good good...not sure what we are doing for Nathan's birthday. Something low key. Maybe have a few friends over that have little ones close to his age...but the new babe will be here so id what i'll feel like doing...Nathan will be happy with a bunch of balloons and cake and one of his little buddies (that we met though DS)

Re: May 2010 DDC

I'm hoping we'll have a fence up by then, but don't know if it will for sure be done in time. We'll probably just have a backyard bbq type party. I'm hoping to make it somewhat of a Thomas the Train theme since he LOVES Thomas. I"m planning on making a "rainbow" cake but only using reds and blues, and I'm going to see if my friend who makes cakes can print me a Thomas picture on rice paper.
