I ended up buying California baby. My son gets rashes from his poop so I will probably be using more rash cream. I was hoping to find a bigger tube :-/

I use coconut oil I make myself, it keeps his rash away and skin supple...I also use it in my wipes solution and it works great! DS mamas rave about CJ's butter and I've been wanting to try it (it's nice to smell something different lol) for a while but don't know where to buy.

Re: Cd safe diaper creams

I honestly do not use anything. I occasional air dry or do a light patting to dry and at the first sign of any redness I dab on some breast milk and any rashes disappear within hours. If I'm unavailable then my husband or MIL will use Kukui Oil at signs of rash. Rashes, however, are very rare so it's never been an issue.

We used California Baby. It works well as a preventative but burned my LO horribly when she had an actual rash. She screams so bad when I put it on. We've been using coconut oil and it's amazing.

Thanks for the tip on coconut oil. We have been having rash problems since I switched to front loading washer. I'm going to start trying the coconut oil from here on.
