Re: Living Social Deal for The Nappy Shoppe

I am so irritated and apologize for posting this. I am pretty through and read all the fine print. NO WHERE did it say it was in store only. When I called the store the owner was really irritable and didn't even try to work with me. I called Living Social and they said as long as the owner had the voucher code she should be able to do the order over the phone. I called the store back but the owner was out. I decided to just get a refund from Living Social.

well....I know the owner from an online group and apparently living social hasn't kept their end of the bargain with a lot of things. The owner got (excuse my language) screwed on many levels from living social and even though the store did ask that certain restrictions be put on the coupon, it wasn't and now the store looks bad for not honoring when it's not their fault. I feel bad for them actually because they did get tons of business from this, but are out a lot of money instead of making any.

That stinks. She didn't really sound irritated with me. More irritated in general. I just wish she could have let me do the order over the phone. I always wondered how business could make money through living social. I am just going to contact living social and request a refund.

I wonder if you'd be able to get someone local to them to use it and then ship it out. I guess that would take trusting the person to actually ship out your items though.
I have a few friends that work there. I don't personally know the owner but in passing, she's pretty nice.
Hope everything ends up working out.
