Do you allow your child to sit/stand in the basket of the grocery cart?

Ds is a 17 month old seat belt escapee, FWIW he is still really short, so when he stands his head is only just above the edge of the basket, he knows he has to be sitting for the cart to move and when he is a bit taller and is more of a "fall hazard"
