It depends on the person but I usually recognize by avatar first and then look at the screen name. Yours I actually recognize both. I think people will still "know" who you are

I see the Avi first, then the SN. But I still know who someone is when I see the changed Avi, it just takes a minute

This. If they are a regular, like you , I'll still know it's you. It might take a moment, but I'll know. I notice the pic first (maybe because it's bigger), then the name. If it's someone that doesn't post often in this forum area, I'll never know. I do need to update mine too, I just never think to do it.

I did it!!! I don't LOVE the photo... and kept getting an error so kept shrkinging it and now it is too small... but anyway, it's not my dream photo but at least it is the child who is currently diapered!!
