Charting for me was much harder after having kids, not as much for night waking (we co-sleep and it never changed my temps) but my body and cycles were just all around different

Cervical mucus used to be my most reliable sign, but that's not the case anymore.

My biggest tip would be to get in at least one full cycle while abstaining so you can really see what your body is doing. It's hard, but really give you a better pictures of what is going on.

Also following the strictest of rules for whatever method you are using until you know what is normal for your body. Then you can figure out if you normally ovulate later in your cycle, or if you gear up several times before ovulation.

Finding an instructor is also very helpful so you have someone knowledgeable to look over your charts with you. Good luck!
