Avery has been moved to cpap!

Yesterday my sweet little girl was extubated and put on cpap! She's 5 weeks and 3 days old today, and weighs 1lb 11oz (almost double what she was not too long ago)!! We're so excited, and I had to share with those who understand <3.

Congrats! This is wonderful news. Although I could never imagine what you are going through with such a tiny, tiny preemie, I can relate to the ventilator! This is a great step in the right direction! Hopefully she will continue to make great progress!

2lbs?!? She is really growing Your new avi pic of her is so cute. My kids always ask how she is She is such a little fighter. Our son(Avery) has some challenges and we remind him of Dory on Finding Nemo "Just keep swimming".

Each step is great it makes me so happy for you I cry happy tears for your LO, since just going through this our dd born at 30 weeks although I don't know about ventilators I felt every day the nicu docs and nurses said "she is doing well" I would take that and be so happy for that. This is wonderful for Avery 2lb! Yay!
