parents at egg hunts UGH
the ugh is only to the nasty ones that though knocking down my 3 yo dd was funny and ok to do. and then steal her eggs.
the ones that thought it was ok to knock down my 6 you or have their kids do and steal his eggs. You suck and you are vile people and thank you for making my child more afraid of crowds. ~~~~ My dd hate crowds we normally don't take her parades or events like this but she was getting so much better where she didn't need to be carried and wasn't shaking when in them that we though a bounce house and egg hunt would be ok. Yeah I should have known people suck and the all that hard work has been trashed and they are simply bullies and suck ETA my daughter now has a dime size bruise on her face.

Any grown adult who knocks down my child would get knocked down by mama bear. What they did was plain out WRONG.

That's just awful!!! If my lo knocked down some little girl I would jump right in there and make him help her up, give her a hug, and say he's sorry and give her back her eggs !!!!

Pushing over a 3yo? What is wrong with people?
![]() My mom was telling me yesterday about how egg hunts are starting to be canceled because of behavior like that. Talk about ruining it for everyone. ![]() My local one actually forbids parents in the egg hunting area, which seems like one way to handle it. Of course, it doesn't help kids like my DD, who won't go if DH or I aren't with her.

I've given up on public egg hunts. Instead I just have one for the kiddos at home and maybe invite a friend or two over.

Re: parents at egg hunts UGH
That's awful! There was an article in our newspaper last week about how to teach children to behave at egg hunts. I had no idea parents were acting like that too! Aren't the children supposed to be the ones collecting eggs anyway? What were the parents doing looking for eggs?!?

Re: parents at egg hunts UGH
Oh heck no! If some grown person knocked down my kid and then LAUGHED about it and stole their eggs... yeah... it's a good thing I don't go to public egg hunts... that is just awful. What is wrong with people?

Wtf it's wong with people??? I would feel so bad if I accidentally knocked down a child
ours was super crowded and it was tough not yup run over the little ones lol. I had a bunch of bigger kids almost knock down ds who is 2.....i can't imagine a parent knocking down a small child and stealing their stuff!!!!! I'm really glad that most people were will behaved at our egg hunt today a few were rude but that was just cutting in life to get their prize..... Although I kept having to remind ds top leave some cans for the other kids lol it's tomorrow I'm worried about with the family ds it's the youngest by a lot I may have to go mama bear tomorrow
