Where's the red?

I've seen some amazing shades of oranges, purples, blues, greens. But I don't see many neat shades of red. Besides the standard bright red, and the neat faded shade from BG there doesn't seem to be much out there. Or their shades of red are really just pink. Anyone else notice this? I've seen neat variation with everything else.

I do remember seeing somewhere that had a deep red/burgundy color I really liked. But everywhere else just seems to have primary red, and shades of pink.
