VBA3C Anyone??

Just wondering if it's that much more riskier? My first was breech and I had pre e and I had her at 37wks. My second I went into PTL at 35wks doctor said vbac was out of the question because of small town. I went into PTL with dd3 at 35.5 wks. I also had pre-e and very high blood pressure. All incisions were bikini cut.

It's not unheard of. Your biggest hurdle will be finding a provider willing to do it. I know some other mamas on here are hoping for a vba3c.

I am a vba3c hopeful next month. finding a care provider to support you is the biggest challenge, I am actually STILL searching for one....believe it or not. Yup....due in 4 weeks, don't have a dr yet even though I have seen 4 different docs along the way for prenatal care/ultrasounds. I may end up traveling 4-5 hrs to Omaha, NE.

Check out www.vbacfacts.com and look at the VBAMC ("M" stands for multiple) links and research info.

I didn't realize you didn't have a Dr yet!

My last baby I went into PTL. I seriously thought about waiting last min to go to L&D before I went into ptl! I love less than 5 min away from the hossy. If I'd been farther along and didn't have pre-e I would have. They can't deny me a vbamc if the baby's on it's way out!

VBA2C hopeful here!

I agree with pp, finding a provider is a huge hurdle, unfortunately. Were about to move across the country at the end of the month...and ill be on a lookout like the other mama!

Do lots and lots, and then even more research to have under your belt! Docs take you more seriously when you are educated and discuss your options!

Also, hire a doula. Will definitely need the support in the hospital!!

You can do it!

I know of two providers who would attend your birth if you live in the South. Dr. Tate is in Atlanta, and Dr. Cummings is in Dallas.

Where are you moving, if you're comfortable sharing? And yes hire a doula!
