My almost 3 year old loves tools and machinery like bulldozers, cranes, etc. He's into stuff like books, coloring, bubbles, sidewalk chalk, puzzles.

I have a 4,3, and 22 mos. old... all boys. My 3 year old and almost 2 year old love to play with : Trains (of course), hot wheels cars/trucks that the door can open and shut on them, sandbox/yard toys, airplanes... basically any mode of transportation they love, art supplies.

When my son was 2-3 it was all about cars, trains and toy story. He did like to build blocks, read books and color too.
