help me pick some 1st shoes :)

for my dd!

Normally I would wait until she is a little older, since she is only 14.5 months old. But, we are going on vacation to disney and to a conference next week, and she will likely be spending lots of floor time in places I have no control over

I bought three and need to return two, keeping only one pair.

The first are pedipeds grip n go, the stage after their soft leather shoes:

here is the link about them:

Next are see kai run sandals:

and last are tsukihoshi kids:

They all claim to be good first walkers shoes, but I don't know. My now 6 yr olds first pair of shoes were see kai run, and I remember them being squishier than this pair, though it definately does bend. The tsukioshi is the least flexible of the three but does have a good bend to it, but is also the most lightweight. The pediped is the most flexible but the leather is the stiffest and I think its gappy in the back by the heel.

Thoughts? What should I keep?

I vote pedipeds. DD lived in them forever and they are the most bendable.

I absolutely adore how light Tsukihoshi shoes are - they are the only runners my DS has ever had. So they get a very big thumbs up from me. If she seems comfortable in the Tsukis, those would be the ones I would go with. IMO, the Pedipeds look like they are too big for her.

I like See Kai Run the best, they are nice if you have a child with very tiny feet- they come in very small sizes. For babies with wider, bigger feet I think Pedipeds would be good. I also really like Sea Wee sandals.

DD is 27 months and she only wears soft soles (Robeez). i think those second step shoes would most likely make her fall down.

I agree about the Pedipeds, the do look too big I am going to have to go down a size if I do keep them. But I still can't decide!

IF it were my kid I would have her in soft soles shoes still. Shoes zoo on eBay is great with great prices. If you really want something with a harder sole I'd still pick the peds. They are the most flexible and IMO of the cutest of the 3
