gagging?

jonah is gagging and its freaking me out. last night dh was holding him and his lips turned blue for a second. thimk its reflux? i have an appt with the pedi on tues (he has to get retested on a part of the newborn screen lets hope for a false positve) but he is really worrying me with the gagging

Hugs mama!i hope your little ones appt goes okay. I don't know much about reflux but my Little guy will gag sometimes when he's BF'ing and it freaks me out too! I would keep the nasal aspirator close just in case you need to suck anything out of his mouth.

Thanks for checking pedi appt went good. gagging has pretty much stopprd. we figured out it had to do with sinus drainage. once we started sucking the snot out it got much better as for the newborn screen jonah has sickle cell trait which means he carries the gene for the disease but he doesn't have the diesease himself. thankfully! he has normal and sickle shaped cells but enough regular to compensate. apparently my husband has it also!

Glad the gagging has stopped and that his pedi appt went well. Sounds like you guys are doing well!
