Eek! What the heck can I do??

I'm in the process of moving right now from az to nc. My dad left this morning to drive my car over there for me. Well I left both my carseats in the car planning on using the two old ones in the attic until we fly over on tuesday so I didn't have to check the carseats or haul them around. I just got them down and look what I found. Its ALL over!

What can I do?? I didn't even think this could happen.. its only been up there for a week! the other seat is fine for ds1 but I can't put ds2 in this. What should I do? Do I have to go get a new seat for him to use for the next 4 days. I don't know anyone around here with little kids in carseats. I'm pretty much freaking out!!!

Is it just on the harness adjuster strap, or the whole harness?

Worst case scenario...totally unethical, but would get you through...

Go to Target/Walmart. Buy a seat. Save all the packaging. After you leave, have a friend take it back. Like I said...not ethical, but nothing illegal about it. Scenaras are pretty cheap ($39 at Wal-mart).

Its the whole harness and cover. I took more photos but my phone wont send it to my email for some reason.... i'll go check walmart tomorrow... I wouldn't have a problem returning it. He would litterally use it only one time so that might work.

Yuck! Your only option is to buy another seat. I personally, wouldn't return a seat I've used if there is no real reason to return it. It definitely won't hurt to have a spare on hand.

You can sell the seat on Craigslist when you're done with it, and at least recoup some of the money. But I wouldn't return a used seat.
