Homebirth story-quick 9lb baby

Started having contractions about 10 mins apart at 3pm. No concern because my contractions had been 10 mins apart the last few days on and off. At 10:52 my doula texted me to try a warm bath. I did that and then laid down to sleep at 11:15. At 11:52 I texted my doula that the contractions were still 10 mins apart but stronger. I got up at about 1am to use the bathroom and I started getting contractions 2 mins apart back to back. I finally texted my midwife at 1:25am and I could barely talk, my midwife told me to wake up my mom and she was on her way. I called my doula to come also. Everyone got there around 2am and started setting up. My midwife check me and said I was completely dialated and she could see my water bag. I started to feel like I needed to push so they asked if I wanted to get on the bed and I didn't wanna move. Everytime I tried to move I hit a contraction. I ended up having the baby at the foot of my bed at 3:45 am!

He was 9lbs 2oz!!! 20 inches. No kidding and we had no idea! talk about shock!

Thats an awesome birth story, I love reading positive stories like this. I am 36 weeks pregnant with my fourth baby, But this will be my first homebirth. I hope it goes as fast as yours.
