So exciting about getting shown again. We had a neighbor with a daughter with sickle cell, she was such a sweetie. For the most part she lives a normal life but when the sickle cell flairs up it is really hard and she is in a lot of pain. She would spike a high fever and spend a couple days in the hospital. When you do foster care exposure issues are a given so they don't scare us too much. Good luck and hope you find your match soon.
