I have no idea if you can sew on new PUL, but maybe you can??
If interested, I have an FB insert I can include for $2 (plus cost of shipping)

The diaper itself is free for shipping. If you would like an insert with it, I am asking $2 along with the shipping cost.
But, anyways, the diaper is pending now
