not so important weight gain/loss question.

I am 36 weeks and only gained 15lbs so far. With my 1st son, I gained 14 or so lbs, and he was 8lbs..so within a couple days I was back in my pre pregnancy clothes..but still never lost the remaining few lbs.

I barely gained 20lbs with one of mine and lost 12 of it within the first month. Lost another ten the next month.

wow, you lucky mamas! My body likes to pack on the pounds when i'm preggo. First one I gained 65, then 30, but dropped 10 pounds lighter than my pre pregnancy weight pretty quickly. Usually a size 6 or 8 but got down to 2 after that baby, then 40, 40, 50 and at 27 weeks now I'm up 30 and feeling so fat already. I always loose it but I hate those first couple fat months. Sorry, I'm not really answering OPs question but i'm amazed that you ladies can keep your weight down.

I gained about 20 pounds with my last pregnancy and was back to pre pregnancy weight when I left the hospital. I probably still looked a little pregnant, but ALL of my pre-pregnancy clothes fit. I would guess half my weight was water, though. Holy cow, did I retain water toward the end.

I had HG, threw up the entire pregnancy sans 2 weeks, and only gained 5 lbs. the last week. I dropped 36 lbs. after 2 weeks. I could stand to lose to begin with though.
